Grateful Hearts: Celebrating Our Community and Our Customers

For over 50 years Alamance County and surrounding areas have supported our locally owned and operated business. Since 1973 beginnings with Frank Thornton founding our business to today owner Tim Thornton continuing to serve local homes and businesses, we’re thankful for YOU!

This time of year, we reflect not only on our mission to keep your homes and businesses comfortable but also on the partnerships, friendships, and shared values that make this community so special.

One Project at a Time.

At Thornton’s we believe in giving back as much as we receive. Throughout the past year we’ve had the honor of sponsoring several local businesses, events, charities and organizations that continue to benefit our community. We are proud to continue to support and sponsor various events hosted by Alcovets here in Alamance County. As a veteran himself, Tim Thornton understands the importance of supporting our local veteran organizations. Alcovets hosts events such as the Alamance County Balloon Festival, Thursdays at Seven Concert series, the Veteran’s Day Festival and more!

Thornton's heating and air baseball sponsor

We’re proud to also sponsor various baseball and soccer teams throughout the community as well as local elementary school fundraisers and events. During the holiday season our office sponsors an Alamance County family through the Christmas Cheer organization, providing toys, clothing, supplies and more during the holiday season. In a continued effort to support children, we have also continued to be a proud sponsor of the Arman Shrine Circus which provides free tickets to disadvantaged families in our community.

This past year Western North Carolina was devastated by hurricane Helene. Thornton’s stepped in providing financial relief to help our neighboring communities as well.

A Warm Thank You.

From all of us at Thornton’s Heating & Air, we wish you a Thanksgiving filled with warmth, comfort, and the joy of togetherness. As we continue to serve this incredible community, we remain grateful for the opportunity to make a difference, one service call and one sponsorship at a time.
