Reflecting On 50 Years of Comfort

This year is a big milestone for Thornton’s Heating and Air as we celebrate our 50th year serving our community. As we finalize 2023 we look back and reflect on many of our accomplishments, our customers and what the future holds.

Locally Owned & Operated

Frank Thornton began Thornton’s Heating & Air Conditioning as a locally owned business in 1973. Today our business remains locally owned and operated by his son Tim Thornton. Over the years Thornton’s has stayed focused on top notch service, quality products and dedicated employees. In addition to Alamance County we’ve expanded our footprint to include Guilford, Orange, Chatham, Durham and beyond.

Achievements

Over the years we are honored to have received multiple awards from Rheem for outstanding sales achievement. We’re proud to maintain a 5 star rating on Google and an A plus rating with the Better Business Bureau. We partner with several top contractors around the county and work with multiple generations of our residential customers as well.

Adapting to Technological Advancements

From bell bottoms to skinny jeans, as the years have changed, so have we. We continuously strive to stay on top of advancements in the HVAC industry including “smart” technology, new regulations, energy efficient options, and the best in the industry service for our customers.

Community Engagement and Giving Back

We are so thankful to our customers and our county for the continuous support over the past 50 years. As a way of saying “thank you” we strive to continuously give back by supporting local sports teams, events such as the Hydrowarrior Ride, adopting Christmas Cheer families and sponsoring local concert series in downtown Graham. We appreciate our community and know that our success would not be possible without you!

The Possibilities Are Endless

As we prepare to begin a new year and wrap up our 50th year we look forward to all that the future has to offer. We will continue to be here for our neighbors, local businesses and beyond to assist with any of your heating and air conditioning needs. Call Thornton’s Heating & Air today and let us show you the difference.
